PPR- ja PVC-torude erinevus on järgmine:
1. The essence is different: PPR pipe is also called three-type polypropylene pipe. It uses random co-polymerized polypropylene to be extruded into pipes and injection molded into pipe fittings; while PVC is actually a vinyl polymer, and its material is an amorphous material.
2. Different properties: PPR is a new generation of pipeline materials in the late 1980s. The gas phase co-polymerization process is used to make about 5 percent PE randomly and uniformly polymerize (random co-polymerization) in the molecular chain of PP to become a new generation of pipeline materials. It has good impact resistance and long-term creep properties. PVC has strong resistance to oxidants, reducing agents and strong acids. It can be corroded by concentrated oxidizing acids such as concentrated sulfuric acid and concentrated nitric acid, and is not suitable for contact with aromatic hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbons.
3. Erinevad värvid: PPR torud ja PVC torud on erinevat värvi. Polüpropüleenmaterjalist valmistatud PPR toru on särava välimusega ja parema vastupidavusega. Vastavalt värvi põhipartii lisamisele saab toota ka teisi värvi torusid; PVC torud on enamasti piimvalged, läikiva pinnaga, kuid ilma ristlõiketa ning materjal on suhteliselt habras.
4. Erinevad tootmiskulud: Materjalist ja seina paksusest tulenevalt on erinevad ka PPR torude ja PVC torude tootmiskulud ja hinnad. Üldiselt on PPR-torude hind suhteliselt kõrge.
